Back from a break

Went to an outing last weekend. It was so hectic that I could not work with my 100%. Also it is becoming somewhat hectic to work on the improvement of Molu with addition of new features to it. Worked on two things today -

  • In the custom engine, the second code pointed to a wrong source. Fixed the bug.
  • Changed the loading graphic on the search result page to a more professionsl looking one. Also made the content layer modal so that the user may not raise a new AJAX request when the first one is still in progress, thus improving upon the performance and saving a bit of my bandwidth :)

Stay tuned, will be adding new features to Molu soon. Working hard to release the beta version.

Added two new things today

Added the Search Box Icon today.

Also our molu comes with a drag and drop facility for the related suggest, spelling suggest and tag cloud. So all of you, who had problems with seeing the complete tag cloud may now drag it and see the complete cloud.

Today I fixed a few existing bugs on the website. There seems to be some problem with the “Answers” tab which I am looking into. Everything else has been fixed.

Also I have changed the functionality of onMouseover event in case of images. Now it is showing an image preview in a “Mouse Following” manner. I find it cool. Waiting for your feedback.

Released Alpha version on 12/01/2007

With the blessings of you all, I have released the alpha version. The hard time starts now, I need to work a lot on look and feel and adding new functionalities. Very soon The Molu will be in a new ‘avatar’. So what are you waiting for, keep kicking the search.

Working hard for the Alpha Release

For the past 2 months or so, I have been working very hard towards making this website. Working part time aongwith your job is not easy and I can feel the heat.

Trying my best to make it fast, but do not want to compromise on the same. Let us see when do I release the Alpha version.
