Power of Yahoo BOSS

Molu’s Web search module has been migrated to Yahoo’s powerful BOSS API. Previously we were using Yahoo’s Web search API for the same. BOSS has a clear cut edge above the previous one specially in the query limit and thus we decided to move ahead.

Comments are welcomed on the same.

Back to Work

I have been keeping in bad health for a past few months. I could not get the energy to work on Molu but now I have to work as there is no alternative.

I have improved two existing things -

1. The RSS feed for saved results now shows the thumbnail image of the website as well.

2. Now the user has the option to decide the default view in Firefox extension. It was pointing to video search previously.

A lot more is about to come. Just keep watching this space.

Cheers,

Himanshu

Lot of problems need to be resolved

Molu is facing a lot of problems due to its API provider Trynt. I dont know why but they have shut down their excellent services. We are migrating to our own services this time. No more APIs now :)

Thanks a lot to trynt for supporting us for around 9 months.

Regards,

Himanshu

New features coming up soon

Molu will be launching a few more new features soon. There is a basic sharing technique missing in Molu currently and we are working on it. That is sharing links by email.

The tree is again eager to open up new branches and we will not let it wait for more time.

Cheers,

Himanshu

Molu in Top 100

We feel in the seventh heaven today. The efforts are paying off and this kind of motivation keeps us going.

Back here in Noida, I am working on some more add ons to Molu search tree. The tree is expanding and it is currently not fitting on the screen. This shows the micro level categorization of the search results.

Thank you all for supporting us to reach where we stand today.

Cheers

New feature added to Molu

The very lesser exposed “Blog Search” feature of Molu has been made more powerful today by adding keyword highlighting feature to it. The searched keyword will be highlighted in blog search now.
